Hole 9
Par 4
Par 4
A demanding finish to the front nine. A cluster of four bunkers down the left and two down the right make the tee shot one of the most pressurised on the course. The green is equally well defended, with a bunker some 20 yards short of the putting surface and one on either side to catch anything wayward.
This is the hardest driving hole on the front nine. With bunkers clustering both sides of the fairway, accuracy off the tee is everything. Take enough club to carry past the trouble but do not overcook it. Once on the fairway, the green is well protected on all sides, so take one extra club on the approach and aim for the fat of the green rather than attacking the flag.
