Hi all, my name is Ciaran White, a PGA Trainee here in County Louth Golf Club specialising in junior golf development and a keen interest in custom fitting. With a four-year educational degree focused on additional needs and child psychology, combined with extensive experience working with children, I adapt my coaching to suit individual learning styles and abilities. My communicational skills and patience have been tested throughout placement and subbing in school settings.
Representing County Louth Golf club from the age of ten, putting on that red jumper right through to my early twenties has been a great honour. Having played golf from a young age and Gaelic football for 17 years, I bring a well-rounded, athlete-centred approach to coaching, with a strong focus on confidence, enjoyment, and long-term development.

Hi my name is David O Brien. I am a PGA assistant here at County Louth Golf Club. I started golf when I was 12, playing out of Laytown Bettystown Golf Club. From the moment I started I fell in love with the game and became addicted to improving and learning from others. Throughout this time I was lucky enough to be involved in a great junior program which saw strong success. I now plan to bring this passion into my career and showcase the knowledge I have learned throughout the years. My main aim as a PGA professional is to cater to all levels of golfer and aid improvement in their own games but ultimately get people enjoying the game that we all love. Every year I set out goals and this year is no different. Firstly, I want my clients to see improvements in their games while enjoying this process. By the use of my skills and the access to the advanced technology we have, I believe that I can add value to our members. Secondly, I want to help create a striving junior program at the club. This will involve being available at all times to juniors in the club and creating an environment where they can learn and enjoy the game. A personal goal of mine is to be competitive in my own game. This year I want to compete on the region and aim to have my game sharp for the start of the season. Finally, continual learning is something that is very important to me and I plan to take every opportunity to learn from the people around me and others within the space. This will allow me to provide a better product year on year to the members of County Louth Golf Club and the surrounding area. I look forward to the year ahead and what it will bring.
