A welcoming but deceptive opener. The tee shot looks straightforward, but two pot bunkers lurking down the left between 240 and 275 yards demand respect from the start. Find the fairway and you are rewarded with a clean approach, though a swale to the right of the green is waiting to punish anything less than a committed iron shot.

Take a club less than you think off the tee and favour the right side of the fairway to stay clear of the pot bunkers. When it comes to the approach, commit fully to your shot. The swale right of the green is more trouble than it looks, and a confident iron targeting the centre of the green will serve you far better than anything cautious.
